Messy Church Summer Holiday Club had a great time exploring God's creation with craft, pictures, music, stories and games. This is the third year we have run the club and we'll be back again in 2026.
Our regular Messy Church meets every month on the second Tuesday, from 4.00pm to 5.30pm.
It's "Church, but not as we know it!"
Thaxted United Reformed Church has recently completed the refurbishment of its kitchen, and Church member Bernard Ward helped mark the event by cutting the ribbon as part of his 90th birthday celebrations.
The kitchen is part of a programme of maintenance and improvement works that have been undertaken to the church over the last few months. By providing improved facilities the church can better support its own activities and other organisations using the church premises.

Dedication of Banners and Tapestry in 2024
On Easter Sunday we dedicated two banners and a tapestry which were previously displayed at Dunmow United Reformed Church
The Banners were made by Val Ward
and the tapestry by her mother
